This isn’t a bug. It’s because we have both an icon and a wordmark set, and the logo is in the wordmark.

If this is installed it likely would be restricted to stewards/sysadmins similar to renameuser.

This doesn’t make technical sense right now. I have neither the expertise nor the time.

Since we are a singe wiki and don’t use CentralAuth, I don’t think this is technically feasible.

You should now see an option in your user preferences. "Use the wikitext mode inside the visual editor, instead of a different wikitext editor."
