I think if this protection level and its user group is created for testing on a test wiki, we will be able to protect templates and modules as Allow template editors only. And this protection level can be set on templates and models and only users with Bureaucrat and Stewards rights will be able to grant administrator or other rights if requested for testing.

Previously added in T34. It was removed upon me making a PR on GitHub to remove it for being useless. I am unsure of the practical use of any such protection level, beyond infrequent testing.

Twinkle is not an extension, rather it would be installed via CSS/JS on-wiki. similar with Huggle, ajaxquickdelete too is a gadget not an extension.

Since we are a singe wiki and don’t use CentralAuth, I don’t think this is technically feasible.

We don’t have an IRC feed and I see no need for a discord feed.
